Insulation of your attic can save you a great deal.it cost appox $.60 per sq.ft to install and you get a lot of bang for your buck,Change the filters.put shutters or curtains on south windows,chaulk your windows,place new weather seal around doors.put refective windowcoverings on your east and south sides.turn down your water heater to 105 degrees,use a clothes line retire that dryer,air dry dishes.
