Had I done my research on Curtis Lunderman I wouldn't have gotten burned so bad. I'm another person he ripped off with his incompetence. I hired him to do a concrete slab and he totally botched the job. Not just botched it but he never pulled a permit to do it like he promised in his contract proposal. The slab is unlevel, out of square and has steel rebar rods sticking out of the sides. He also wrecked my screened-in porch structure and took my spare floor tiles to form the slab without my permission because he used 2x4's instead of 2x10's to make the forms. Then he disappeared the minute I paid him, leaving everything unfinished with the forms still attached to the slab. The whole project needs to be torn out and redone because he disregarded all code regulations. Unfortunately, he hiding from my process server to avoid getting served with my lawsuit papers. What an incompetent crook! Steer clear of Team Lunderman Construction Inc. and Segall Construction Services Inc (which is what he's using since the Team Lunderman qualifying license was revoked).

Dean Filatrano says:

None of my research reveals any such info on Mr. Lunderman. Mr. Lunderman does the work himself and saved me a ton of money. He by the way is the owner of a company that is qualified to do General Contracting work.

general contracting ny says:

Every home remodeling requires different approach. Before you start your new custom home construction project, there are things that you must consider. Like remodeling in Woodridge, you must think and consider your home’s location, size, budget, and the environment before proceeding to home construction in NY.

Dave Barnes says:

how do you know if a contractor is licensed

April 11th, 2009 at 4:09 PM

Gary says:

Charles you do not mention where you are located. In Florida a permit is required for interior remodeling even if there are no structural changes.Handyman cannot do this type of work in Florida,Please call your building Official and report this unlicensed activity. To many times I hear horror stories about a home owner that hires a unlicensed contractor. You have no legal recourse if the the person you hire is not licensed,No claim to poorly constructed work, also you may be financially responsible for all the bills even though you paid the Handyman ifthe handyman does not pay them.I have even seen were a handyman charged materials for other projects and the owner had to pay the bills due to the materialmans notice. If the handyman gets hurt on your property you may be responsible.Per Florida Law
